Mr. S. lived in Whitehaven and only white liven in Whitehaven during the 60s. . He was only in the 9th grade when Dr.King was assassinated. He remembered they closed down school because of the assassination. It was complete chaos. He couldn't remember if he was 15 or 16 when it happened. He remembers images and sound of people screaming and those cried. A lot of people that were sad and were on the scene when it happened. Watching TV, he saw people were rioting and was bad. The city of Memphis control. was completely out of control.
